Steel tower and Electric wire for The Chubu-Kansai cross-regional transmission line project

1.Invitation

Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Inc. “Chubu PG” and Kansai Transmission and Distribution, Inc. “Kansai TD” ,collectively “2 Companies” jointly invite manufacturers of Steel tower and Electric wire for the above project, which is based on “Cross-regional Network Development Plan” by Organization for Cross-regional Coordination of Transmission Operators, Japan.
2 Companies invite manufacturers to promote this large-scale project while achieving both risk minimization of schedule delay and cost reduction.

* As 2 Companies may jointly purchase above products, applicants shall submit to both of 2 Companies, even if they intend to deal with one company among 2 Companies.

2.Application Period

April 7, 2025 (Mon) -April 21, 2025 (Mon) . (Deadline: 5 p.m.)

3.Eligible Applicants

[Steel tower and Electric wire]

Companies who intend to accept the order of steel tower or electric wire in a responsible way.

• Steel tower
• Companies with a track record in the design, manufacturing and delivery of steel towers for 275kV and above.
• Electric wire
• Companies with a track record in the design, manufacturing and delivery of TACSR/AC.

4.Submission

After completing "Application Form" and “Confidentiality Pledge” attached on the bottom of this page, please send the electronic data and the signed original documents to the following e-mail address and to the postal address respectively.

* Signed original documents shall be postmarked on or before April 21.

5.Prequalification

Applicants shall be requested to participate in Prequalification by 2 Companies in terms of financial condition, eligibility for technical requirements and so on. More details of Prequalification procedures will be instructed individually upon receiving application.
In some cases, 2 Companies may eliminate applicants according to contents of their survey sheets.

7.Language

Please note that this application and afterwards process shall be made in Japanese language only.

8.Attachments
