What to Do When the Power Goes Out

The first thing to do is check the extent of the power outage. Please follow the flowchart to determine what your situation is.

(Note) Our current technology is limited in its ability to completely prevent failures or power outages due to lightning strikes, typhoons, earthquakes, or other events. If a service interruption might have a significant impact on a device or appliance, we recommend installing an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or other device for such items.
